The Story of Siva: The Great God by Nivedita
This story has so much potential for details and imagery. I can see myself taking this one of two ways. The first being staying true to the story and just really chalking up the imagery and the second being modernizing it. I like the end of the story where it talks about deity being knowledge and power!
The Capture of Sita:
We read this story before, but I would like to retell it! So, I would like to modernize it and make it less fantastical. I might make it similar to a movie about kidnapping. Only, I will have to change the ending to this episode because I cant handle them being a part!
