Ramayana Week 4!!
Sugriva and Hanuman:
The first paragraph of this sort of reminds me of beauty and the beast! How the woman shows herself as a beggar... But in this story, he ends up being an ally to Rama, so perhaps this could be a story about friends in unlikely forms/places?
Sugriva's Story:
Sibling issues!! This section could be retold from a first person point of view.. maybe Sugriva or Vali explaining their experience and why they did what they did.
Sugriva and Vali:
I really like the wording in this section. Specifically, when Vali is being described. It definitely illustrates his anger.
Vali's Death:
This could play into a retelling of the story of these brothers.. dialogue could be added in possibly incriminating rama?? And changing the entire story! Adding back story could make this substory very interesting and controversial.
King Sugriva:
The first couple of lines support my idea from the above section..Sugriva mourning his brothers death could play into my story idea. Then, I could move into the "coming from nothing" situation that Sugriva went through.
Vibishana:
Here we have another conflict between brothers! Vibishana longs to return Sita to Rama. This could possibly be related to the story of Sugriva and Vali. Also, this could be related to Rama being exiled as a result of his brother as well. (although, who actually forced it to happen was different).
